If this little guy can do it, so can I.
Another day, another food truck. Even though the CapMac truck drives around our hood frequently, I was first introduced to them via Tumblr when someone posted an epic picture of their Mac & Cheese Bolognese. It looked magical and I could only assume it would be so. Today, however, this dish was not an option, and so I instead ordered their Mac & Goat Cheese with lemon herb chicken, broccoli pesto, and crispy panko bread crumbs.
With froyo in one hand and Mac & Cheese in the other, it was a day to be outside. The Stoop once again took on its accommodating role when the fullness of our bellies and the light breeze equaled a sleepy malaise. The streets were alive today but all I could focus on was how the forest of flowers beside us were delicately pushed to and fro by the wind in unison. As long as the sky is blue and the sun is shining, everyone’s spirits are up, and this makes for a perfect day on The Stoop.
